Phocuswright Barcelona took place last week and bought travel industry leaders together for insight, research, debate and networking.A highlight for me was hosting the Technology Round table supported by industry experts James Lemon Evelina Thunell Williams Puck Voorneveld Rob Francis. We touched upon the connected traveller, where technology continues to make a difference, AI advancements, highs and lows, tried and tested strategies and methods applied to enhance the offering in travel, payment partnerships and skill sourcing to mention a few areas covered. I sensed the round table was the kick off point of many conversations which followed on the conference floor over the 3 days.Thanks all for joining.As always it was fantastic to catch up with clients, industry friends and to meet many new faces. More conversations to come.For me there was a different dimension to this year's conference as my daughter Louisa Davies was lucky enough to be offered a job with the conference team of Phocuswright where she was made to feel part of the family.
