I go to a great school. My high school experience has been amazing, especially compared to many stories that I hear about other schools. I would like to see better enforcement of the rules. Drug usage is a big problem. Step into the bathroom at any time of day and I’m guaranteed to see smoking, especially after lunch! Maybe having security in the bathrooms could help solve the problem. Nonetheless, there are many opportunities for growth and development as long as a student is determined. Teachers genuinely care for students, and they are kind (majority of them). They care for your success beyond the classroom. It’s been great.

My experience with M-DCPS has been profoundly transformative. Overall, the experience with Miami-Dade County Public Schools is characterized by a commitment to diversity, academic excellence, and continuous improvement, despite facing some systemic challenges. The district strives to provide a supportive and enriching environment for all its students. Throughout my time in the district, I have had the privilege of participating in various academic programs and extracurricular activities that have shaped my educational journey. M-DCPS's diverse curriculum and inclusive approach have allowed me to engage with students from different cultural backgrounds, broadening my perspective and fostering a deeper appreciation for global citizenship. Programs such as Magnet Programs, Spanish AP have challenged me academically and prepared me for the rigors of higher education.

My time at Miami-Dade County Public Schools was a formative and overall positive experience. Looking back, I truly appreciate the diverse learning environment and the dedicated teachers who shaped my education.
One of the best parts was definitely the people. I was lucky enough to form strong bonds with my peers, many of whom remain close friends to this day. The diverse student body exposed me to different cultures and perspectives, which broadened my understanding of the world.
Academically, I was challenged and supported by my teachers. They were passionate about their subjects and genuinely invested in our success.
Of course, no school system is perfect. I do wish there had be more extracurricular options, smaller class sizes. However, these are minor problems
I believe my experience at MDCPS prepared me well for college and beyond. I graduated feeling confident in my abilities and equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed.
