This episode did take on a more refreshing setting with the outdoors environment though. I do think Migi and Dali is more intelligent than they appear. Anyways, seems this show still has a lot of potential with these two.

The 1st task of becoming friends: Hitori befriends a group of boy scouts, but messes with some boys that they're actually twins, and forcing him on the tightrope to the encouragement of Shunpei Akiyama, who willingly becomes his friend. Dali going over to his house bringing a cherry pie while Migi goes into hiding, they have to make this covert operation as discreet as possible to trace the clues from their past. While Akiyama's interest of being bird shows Dali, Migi gets entranced with his sister, which making friends seem like a hard operation, or beauty plains according to the situation.
The twin brothers going over to their scout's house of Maruta Tsutsumi's, the young kid is a brat who doesn't hold back when Migi faces him, and Dali does his research as per usual. But when Dali sees his brother being tortured by Maruto, he trades Migi's place for himself, and is not afraid to lay the waste, almost forgetting their composure.
It's damn ominous trying to locate the killer...that's insane.

Dali's fake over-the-top laughter at the camp.
The inspirational music playing over Hitori trying to walk across a rope.
Bird-boy thinking he has someone who truly listens to him, but Dali just wants to buy time for Migi to investigate.
That scene where Dali beats the shit out of beaver-boy with a slipper LMAO.
The serious music just intensifies the comedy.

So many funny moments in this episode.
My favorite was Maruta telling Dali to not touch his toys with a gruff old man-like voice followed by Migi smashing Maruta's head.

My favorite anime this season for sure, along with the best ED of the season as well. I thought Sakamoto was just OK, didn't really engross me as other comedies do, this one is a lot better IMO.

Honestly, this is a sad episode, I can't even laugh at the little jokes because I think it's a really sad episode, especially with that last scene and immediately closed with the ending, which is indeed a sad song. I didn't expect at all that there would be bullying scenes here... it was really sad when Migi was being beaten :"((( and he was also the first to fall from the rope, right? They're all so disgusting, those bullies.

This reminds me a lot of JoJo Diamond is Unbreakable. I guess it is the Japanese town that feels more like a small American Town. Plus the quirky characters

I feel so bad for that bird kid, its always hard when you have a unique hobby that people make fun of, the lonelyness, even if the twins faked their interactions i feel like it helped him a lot, second kid thought is an asshole that got it comin

I feel like Migi is the equivalent of Yugi and Dali would be 'Yami Yugi' hahaha. Still amazed that Murase is Dali; for some reason I thought he was Migi.
When Hitori said left and right. I knew Migi was right but Hidari = Dali = left. Mind blown tbh. Two sides of the same whole.

It's really a unique show, but it uses the genres of comedy, mystery and psychological in a perfect mix. Plus the twins are written so well. Skilled, but still very human and immature.
Dali smacking the hell out of the fatso was so satisfying, but same for Migi reminding him to keep calm!
My only concern at this point is that it will be rushed somewhere down the line. I don't quite see how it can keep up the depth it has now and finish all the plots in 13 episodes.

The fact that they just took their mom's body when she was 'murdered' and buried her, lol. No calling a doctor? No checking if she's actually dead and not passed out? Maybe they buried her alive. Or maybe the anime didn't show the full thing.

This episode cut a clear diffrence between Dali and Migi, which I like a lot. In fact, it was probably my favorite episode so far, even though I missed the old couple.

@Bisalissy The manga is only 44chap. Right now they're adapting at a 3 chap per ep rate so they only need to adjust that to 4 chap per ep.

The comedy gold with all the glorious cringe factor, I wouldn't take any other way, this was brilliant!
Man, the way this author used to do absurdist comedy was so unique, I can't quite find many manga/anime that are exactly similar in execution. It's uncanny and unnatural in a way that just works while also being a weird thriller of a sort.
